Prudential Hong Kong Appoints Lawrence Lam as New Chief Executive Officer

New Hong Kong CEO adds to leadership bench-strength with his strong track record of building customer-focused teams and multi-channel distribution network

(25 August 2022, Hong Kong) Prudential Hong Kong Limited today announced the official appointment of Lawrence Lam as its Chief Executive Officer. This appointment is with effect from 25 August 2022.

Lawrence will be responsible for driving the growth and development of Prudential’s life and general insurance in Hong Kong. He reports to Lilian Ng, Managing Director, Strategic Business Group, Prudential plc.

Prior to joining Prudential Hong Kong, Lawrence was the Chief Executive of Citi’s consumer banking business in Hong Kong. During his time with Citi, Lawrence held multiple senior leadership positions and played a critical role in building the bank’s insurance business through bancassurance partnership.
