Independent analysis of the Cha-Ching Curriculum in Zambia
This report, authored by Dr. Adele Atkinson, financial literacy expert and former lead at the OECD, reviews data from four provinces in Zambia to assess the impact of the Cha-Ching Curriculum on students’ knowledge, attitudes, and behaviours.
It concludes that students taught Cha-Ching are on average learning about financial matters and that the curriculum is promoting regional equality, and offers recommendations to guide the continued implementation of the curriculum across schools in Zambia, in alignment with the National Strategy on Financial Education.
