Following a devastating 5.6 earthquake that struck Cianjur in Java, Indonesia in November 2022, 320 people were killed, 73,693 people were affected and displaced, and 62,628 houses were damaged.
Prudence Foundation and Prudential Indonesia both contributed to the initial disaster response efforts. To further our support – working together with Posko Jenggala, a local NGO partner – a team of Prudential volunteers returned to Cianjur between 11-18 March to directly contribute to on-the-ground relief efforts.
